Why men live less than women?

The average life expectancy for women is 85 years, while it is 75 years for men. What is the reason for this?

Historically, men are in more dangerous situations than women, in jobs and going to war. There is also some evidence that the Male Y chromosome, lacking the genetic material in the Female X chromosome makes men more vulnerable to disease. And, the typical Male body is physically larger than the typical Female body, putting a greater strain on body organs.

Because men eat food from gas stations and never go to the doctor. Men work jobs with cancer causing agents and these jobs are physically destroying our bodies. We think we are bullet proof. Just don’t take care of ourselves in general unless we are lucky enough to meet a girl who won’t tolerate it and makes us take better care of ourselves.

I think it is still a puzzle, because women experience more health issues than men throughout their lives, deal with more autoimmune diseases, suffer from more depression and anxiety than men, and women are much more likely to have strokes. So it is a mystery.

It's just in a males genetic code. They're more likely to get most health issues. Even in the womb/early infancy males are more likely to die and cause health issues to their mother. Girls are just stronger health wise in comparison to boys and that goes into adulthood to

I have heard taller people generally live less long because since they have bigger body parts it increases their chances of catching diseases or getting sick. Not sure if this is true or not but I have heard this before. Anyway males are generally taller than females

Taller people have bigger bones and internal organs than people who are shorter than them

Think of it this way a bigger nets are is more likely to catch a ball or fish than a smaller net.
so maybe bigger people are more likely to catch a disease or illness since their internal organs and bones are bigger

I did some research online and this is what I read

Height can be a risk factor for certain health conditions, but it's not the only factor that affects a person's health:
Cancer
Taller people are at a higher risk of developing cancer of the pancreas, large bowel, uterus, ovary, prostate, kidney, skin (melanoma), and breast.
Blood clots
Taller women are more likely to experience recurrences of venous thromboembolism (VTE). This may be because they have longer legs and veins where a thrombus might occur.
Heart disease
Shorter people are about 50% more likely to get coronary heart disease than those who are 5 feet 8 inches or taller.
Peripheral neuropathy
Taller people are at a higher risk of peripheral neuropathy, which is caused by damage to nerves on the extremities.
Skin and bone infections
Taller people are at a higher risk of skin and bone infections such as leg and foot ulcers.
Stroke
Taller people are less likely to have a stroke, especially if they're at a healthy weight.
Blood clots
People who are 5 feet or shorter have the lowest chances of getting a blood clot in a vein.
However, height doesn't cause any health conditions. Other factors, such as nutrition and environmental factors, may also be more the cause
