Is 6ft even tall anymore?

I'm a 6ft, 20 year old guy and live in the north of England. I've been told that 6ft is meant to be tall, but is it? Everywhere I go all the guys are taller than me (significantly so) all my friends are taller than me. Even some of the girls are taller than me. Is 6ft still tall or is that average now?

Well, about 14 percent of the male population in the U. S is 6 feet, and over.. So, yeah, it's still pretty tall... I can imagine it's even less in England.. And all over the world, the average height for a male is 5'8-9"... So, you good, it's just in some areas that you will feel average..

6'0 is definitely tall considering most men in the world are like 5'7 (all averaged out?) So, yea, it's tall :) Maybe in your area, it's not considered very tall, but overall, yes, you're tall.

Where I'm from it's pretty average but it isn't short. It's still way taller than me so I'd still call it tall.

I'm 6'2" in Canada and the only time I felt short was when I was in a subway with a college football team. At clubs there is some tall guys, but I'm still taller than average by a comfy margin.

By today's standards it's average. 6'2" is considered tall though.
