look at 3:10 and the lead singer hanging himself with the mic, and 3:15 it says "starved to death in a land of plenty"

I don't think they are "subliminal messages". I see it more as simply the environment they are using for their song /album. It's a very dark death related album.
In the mic thing is a reinforcement of the whole concept of death/suicide, and the second tbh to me sounds more to a criticism to capitalism though your interpretation might be also valid as part of the dark/death concept.
Anyway, I don't think they are "subliminal messages"
