Sam’s Ski Boards. com offers 5/4/1 chain discounts to many of its customers. The Ski Hut ordered 20 ski boards with a total list price of $1,200.
What is the net price and trade discount amount?

My answers are not adding up to what's in the book at all!!!

A 5/4/1 discount is
100-5 = .95
100-4 = 0.96
100-1 =0.99

Multiply
0.95*0.96*0.99 = 0.90288

Then take 1.00-0.90288 = 0.09712 that is the discount rate

Rate 1200 * 0.09712 =116.544 is the discount AND
1200-116.544 = 1083.456 is the net price
