Is it okay to to get mad at a 12 year old if the slap your ass?

A few days ago a group of boys from my school were walking behind me and suddenly one of them slapped my ass. I turned around to hit them but then realised hey were about 12 (im 15) so I did nothing.

Yes, it's ok. The same happened to me when I was 16. I was on holidays at the beach, right before carnival. I was with a friend. Every day, out of the blue a group of kids 8-10 years old would come out of the blue and spray us with foam. One evening we were going dancing, I was wearing a skirt, we were walking down the street, a kid sprayed foam under my skirt, I turned around and he sprayed foam on my face, in my eyes, when I took the foam out of my eyes I saw the kid had gone running to stand next to his mom. I told her what happened and she said there was nothing she could do. Those situations give you such impotence!! Because at the end of the day their parents are raising them that way.

I don't think you should hit them back, but I would have told them that was inappropriate. They need to learn at a young age that they can't just reach out and slap women on the ass.

I would have expected you to give them a severe verbal roasting along the lines of how to treat a lady but I dunno what the pc answer is, nor what your school would tolerate in this situation (don't get yourself in trouble) .
I suspect the real answer is report them to a teacher.

Slap them in a way that will give them a lesson. Some scolding would be good too. They are young and they need to know that it's bad. Leave them like that and they will do it again to someone else. So, better hit them hard. It's for their own good.
