I think it’s magical but also delusional , to think it’s possible, to meet and know you met your soulmate. I mean, come on, you don’t even know the person yet. What is really happening is you are so infatuated, that all you can pay attention to, is confirmation and qualities and feelings, that reinforce your intuition is true, that they are your soul mate which greatly improves your chances of becoming true, as you are, in its most pure form, looking for the bright side

+1 yThe concept of a soul mate takes away everything that makes a relationship valuable. To say "we are destined to be together, so that's why we are" belittles the value of the hard work it takes for a healthy, happy relationship. So no, I don't believe in a soul mate. I believe for a relationship to work, it takes hard work and dedication. Constant effort. That's what makes it so rewarding.

This 70 year old woman I once knew told me it felt like the ultimate recognition. She was at a party, in her 20s. It was a small party in her friend's apartment. Someone rang the doorbell, two guys walked into the living room. She looked up from the drink in her hand and her eyes met his. And that was it. She knew. He knew. And they were married after three months.

Therefore, I can't say that I've met mine.02 Reply- +1 y
Not everyone met their soulmate at first it takes patience and dedication, and I know many people who are living happily together not because they both are perfect but because with being together they complete each other 🙂

@anuragk033 Well, that's your opinion, I respect it. But I disagree with you. People don't need to find someone who completes them, they should complete themselves.
Trying to find someone who completes you will only make you feel empty and frustrated.
That being said, I'm not saying that people shouldn't date or get married. I'm just saying that we should feel happy when we are single and not expecting someone to bring us happiness.
+1 yI believe you can find people you click with very well, but I don't believe any of us have these "assigned" soul mates.
I don't believe in things being predestined to happen or be. But that's just me I guess.00 Reply
Both will stay longer. If either leaves, he or she or he wasn't the soulmate.

I don't think soulmates exist. It's more just down to finding someone you love and want to spend your life with, which could happen more than once. You'll never meet a person that is utterly perfect for you, as in, there are always going to be some issues in a relationship. Having a long and happy relationship comes down to whether or not you can love the person despite their issues and are willing to work through them together. After all, nobody is perfect.

+1 yHaving a soulmate is the best feeling in the world it is more like being with your ownself Don't need to explain anything can talk about anything there is no "what if" and it makes you relaxed and so much more because feelings can't described even I describe you won't be able to feel it, it's the feeling can be felt when you found "the one"☺

😘😘😘 I'm lucky to have my love 😘😘😘
When I saw her nothing strange happened just my focus shifted from everything around me to her. I was not able to hear anything or anyone for a few seconds and my heart started racing and when she said hii I stared like a creep but its been a while from back then and now we've been together from almost 2 years!

+1 yI think people automatically think soulmate they think of a romantic relationship with the sex they're attracted to. And I don't believe that to be true. You can have a best friend as a soul mate, ya know?

I actually agree with you. I think you can have a lot of different soul mates in different areas of your life
You stare
And you stare
And your eyes cannot let go of their eyes
The world stops
Everything else becomes a complete blur
Even though you might be across the conference room full of friends/colleagues
You forget everything.03 Reply
