The feeling of meeting the one you'd spend your life with is like feeling at home- peaceful, calm, happy and in your comfort zone. There is nothing like that specific feeling. That is why you need to calm down, stop being nervous about being rejected in any way, being self-secure in what you have to offer and give in return, so you could finally catch that moment in the right way.

I have to say I agree. It's not all about butterflies and feeling seasick at the sight of him. I think it's more about feeling this inner peace and sense of belonging, like you can trust him and be yourself with him. At least that's what I have been experiencing. A soulmate is that person that feels like home to you.

I agree. If it's not someone who despite the most ugly fights can still feel like home, the safest place on earth when war is crashing down, then maybe it isn't what they call a soul mate.

Of course! It really is a serious question, and I have so often thought about this...

Because see, at first I thought that if I didn't feel my heart pound in my chest, my hands sweaty and shaky, if the person didn't make me feel on fire then it couldn't be anything serious or real. But now I just think that's ridiculous. Because your soulmate should make you feel safe and comfortable, like every bad thing can turn good, like there is always hope. I'm idealistic and dreamy and my friends call me a romantic and sometimes get irritated when I'm picky with people because I don't like just anybody. But most importantly, I don't enter a relationship with just anybody. I haven't felt safe or at home for the longest time, and I am not going to be with anyone until I can feel that with someone. Like finally, I'm home, and it's warm, comfortable, safe, cozy, and all the good feelings you can think of!

when I spoke of that feeling I was also speaking by experience

I felt it in the begining and can't say it was wrong

I will see what the future brings. For now we are enjoying each other's company.

I say what the future brings because it is not the easiest situation. It's long distance.
