I am like you in how to deal with it movies, sleep when I can, music, lock my self in my room even living alone. Stare at a fixed point until I blackout. I am disabled so not much else that I can do.
Never felt the 'loneliness' that often maybe twice so no strategy yet..
Find a new hobby, exercise or jog outside.. I just focus on improving myself.
I don't know, I've always been alone more my whole life, so maybe I don't feel it ever?
Are you needing to be lonely right now? If so just excercize is a good way to branch into other activities u might like. If not just maybe give someone who u frequently see but don't really chill with a chance to get to know u a bit
I read it watch TV or hangout or text a friend and make self deprecating jokes about my loneliness

I prefer it. I have my dogs. My girl visits twice a month. My friends visit twice a year.
I tend to clean exercise or soak in bath and pamper myself

I think the best way is to try to master something new.

I'm lonely and I both enjoy it and don't like it. I try to escape it by playing video games, watching TV series etc. I have also started a DIY project which helps me with filling my spare time.

Go out and meet people. There is no reason to be lonely unless you live in the middle if nowhere.

I'm single but i. dont feel alone but I have good friends that keep me busy
I try to have friends over or chill with them. But tbh sometimes I go to bed feeling a little depressed and lonely then I wake up feeling the same way. I think I need a girlfriend , when I had one I was more happy
I have always tried to keep my mind busy. Getting out with friends helps. I go walk my dog and spend time with him that has really helped me.
I have my favorite Youtubers to entertain me and talk to me

Try to make some new friends, or you can try talking with someone you like. Try to spend time with the one you feel special.
