Accidentally liked someone's Instagram post then blocked them. Would they still be notified?

Hi everyone , I'm so sorry if this sounds pathetic.
I was on Instagram checking to see if this man I've been chatting to and have met up with had uploaded any photos of trip he said he was going on ( I hadn't heard from him for several days and was starting to worry that something had happened to him. I suffer really badly with anxiety.) And I accidentally liked his photo , quickly unliked it then after a few minutes decided to block him and change my username out of panic.
We don't follow each other and he doesn't know that I know about his Instagram account 🙈. I only found it when I did a reverse image search when we first started chatting ages ago and before meeting up ( just to make sure he wasn't catfishing me.)
My question is would he still have gotten a push notification saying I liked his post and if so would it of shown my old username , or would it be my new one?

I ended up explaining to him that it was a accident. Not even sure if he's got push notifications on but I decided to tell him anyway.

Even if it does show up, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Chances are he'll recognize it's you and will feel flattered

I just don't want him to think I'm weird. It's only the second time I've checked his profile out and it was only because I was worried. I did change my username name after I blocked him though , so I'm just wondering if the notification would of mentioned the new one instead of the old one.

Thank you for your opinion , I explained what happened and that how I came across his account in the first place ( I was looking at photos of his Nan's art and his profile photo came up.)

I'm sure you'll be fine, like I said, he'll likely be flattered that you looked him up and liked a photo. It's not like you're some woman he doesn't know

I do , we also slept together. He's the only man I've been with apart from my ex who emotionally abused me. So I'm really on edge.

That is good you was honest and told him. I don't think he would had ever found out it was you since you deleted your account and never added him as a friend. But at least you was honest.

I suffer from really bad anxiety so I freaked out , worrying that he might think I'm a creep. So out of desperation I blocked him in the hope that he wouldn't get a notification.
