Immortality as undying humans but otherwise unchanged? Boring, especially when the world gets burned up and you get to float endlessly in space alone.
Immortality, as in the Bible's concept of living forever with an infinite omnipotent omniscient God? That would be cool, endlessly learning new things and having new experiences.
I think it would be fun for a good long time learning and exploring the world. But once you've learned all you want and seen the world what else would there be to do. Eventually youd be afraid to form personal connections because you would outlive everyone and would want to avoid the pain
I think it will get old. You'll probably eventually get to travel space time.. But watching people you befriend and have families with as well, die, is difficult.
You might get used to it for a couple centuries, but man its gonna be tough
Nah I'd have fun with that shit. I'd kill of half the population of a small town. And the poof. Gone. Vanished. For 200 years. Make them think it was a legend... rinse and repeat for a millennium. Then get bored. Fly in the sun
To me, immortality will not be boring if I was immortal. I could travel anywhere with lots of time in my hands. Then, I would be able to see how and what it will look like.
Of course it would, every relationship, romance, career, experience etc would eventually end up feeling like the same thing... for eternity. Big pass on that one.
I say no. And I aspeak for myself. After some time, you'd be able to predict certain events, which could be fun and would give you an edge. You'd see humanity go to Mars, Moon base, cloud cities on Venusโฆ It would be very interesting.
It'd be a helluvalot more exciting than not being immortal. You could see the whole world, watch history unfold through the centuries, meet millions of people, slowly accumulate a fortune and then live like a king. Damn I wanna be immortal.
I think the people who say it will get boring are not realizing that the world changes faster than we do. A life 100 years ago was far far different than life now, and life 100 years from now will be even more different. Being immortal would be more like living thousands of lives than living one unbearably long one.
There's things I need along with the immortality in order to accept it. No aging, no health issues, rich af. My loved ones must also get the same treatment. I dont want them to die and leave me alone in the world
It just takes away the meaning of life. You are supposed to make the best of what you have in a short amount of time. If you are suddenly given an infinite amount of time, you would have no motivation to improve yourself and to leave a legacy.

Ha! Boring? You are immortal. I know. You don't remember. No one fully can. Do you really think life is as crazy as it is just for you to gain nothing from it and die? NO. There is something very important to be learned! And for each of us, our path is different yet all of our paths cross. The exciting question is WHERE WILL WE GO NEXT? 😁😁😁

Only "we" humans would think that immortality is simply existing for a very long time.
I remember an episode of Star Trek when the Enterprise encountered a being who had no idea that things could even "die".

Boring, maybe not. Very sad? Yes. Having to sit around and watch everyone you love die and slowly watch the world come to an end wouldn't be great.
Yea but that would be a long long time from now lol
You're gonna end up stuck in outer space when the sun dies. If you can still feel pain then immortality ain't worth it at all.

Immortality that means being young forever would be fun. U just need to find ways to entertain yourself. Best thing is u can shit on God
You have issues.
@agamo like everybody else on gag :p
At least the issues sound fun! :-D

If you have a good, strong body, and have any infirmities, and lots of energy, then eternal life would be good.
It would be cool if that was possible, but after some time seeing everything over and over again it would become boring.

I don't know. I used to think about it when I was younger. I'm still trying to grasp the concept of living forever
💗Yes, eventually everything will become dull and boring with enough time💗

I'd outlive everything and my life's not eventful enough to make it interesting.
It definitely would boring becouse after many years you would of literally have seen everything and done everything on earth.
