Honestly? I don't think humans as we stand today are architected to exist on a time scale of infinity. We'd go insane eventually watching everything we know come and go. It would be incredibly lonely. It would get boring. There is only so much knowledge to consume.

You would have to become something very different from what you are today. And you'd have to "evolve" very quickly to keep from going insane. I don't know how that's possible.

Depends on what kind of immortal. Like, are we talking some full-on invincible never age, never bleed kind of immortal? Ageless immortality where I can still die from a mortal wound or illness? Eternal life but not eternal youth? I need more context here because I would rather not live until the heat death of the universe, if it’s all the same to you.

Yeah, I can live with that. Be ageless for a while, live with my family, take care of them, build wealth, fuck around for a century or two, and then kill myself once I was all set.

Depends if I'm rich and immortal. If I can heal fast, am rich, and immortal!

Cos if I'm not rich then ugh life will be miserable. Otherwise I'd travel the world and try all the meditation and yoga practises and learn all the martial arts and try to make changes in the world.

Honestly, I wouldn’t want to be immortal..

I’ve already experienced seeing people I love n care about leave this world while I remain, n I can’t imagine living forever with that feeling of loss..

Mortality gives life its depth n meaning.. 😊
