Has anyone ever actually slipped on a banana peel?

I mean we all see it on TV but is it real. Like I've stepped on a banana and it just sits there. I have however stepped on a rake and been slapped in the face but banana peels C'mon that can't be real. Right?

Banana peel will be slide backwards as you step on it when you RUN. If your running foot pressed on the banana down, which makes it release liquid, and since you are running that foot is also giving it backwards force, it will slide backwards while you fall forwards.

The rake thing happened my friends dad. He has proper anger management issues and it flung up and cracked him right in the face. He was shouting and smashing the rake off the ground. I think it was one of the funniest things I've ever saw.
