+1 yNo, I tend to not leave discarded food lying around on the floor. I know it is hard for you to reach the top of the rubbish bin, but you could always shoot it like a basketball. Best do that because slipping isn't the worst of the problems with leaving food peels on the ground.
Likely, you are going to have flies, bugs and a host of other issues if you leave stuff lying around like that. Plus, can you really fall or is that more just like sitting down for you?
If I were to run across something on the ground, I pick it up and place it in the bin. Lucky for me, we are both kind of neat freaks so that is unlikely to even be an issue.
I can see why you asked this though, kind of having a cartoonish height, this may be of interest to you or the world down there that you live it.
I put up my SO Bot for this opinion.

+1 yNo sir. If I see a banana peel laying on the floor of our home or even outside, I will make the effort to squat down and pick it up and throw it in the composter or a garbage can.

I try. I would have to believe that you have a better sense of balance than the rest of us, your center of gravity is much lower. I have a feeling youāve never slipped on a banana peel.
- +1 y
@prettypriya-Do you know how to measure center of gravity?
- +1 y
Just happened to see this. Tag didn't work but I had a sense of duty to come back to this question.
I called NASA and they gave me this:
"Taking the sum of the average value of the weight/volume times the distance times the volume segment divided by the weight will produce the center of gravity."
I asked them what the center of gravity of a munchkin was. They have their best people working on it. - +1 y
@PrettyPriya youāre the munchkin! š£

+1 yI've done it intentionally. They really are slippery. I call it "NordicBanana" after the NordicTrack. It's like cross country skiing and good exercise. So if can't afford to buy a NordicTrack or pay for a gym, just try NordicBanana.
I'm being serious by the way. I really have done that. Try it on a hard floor like tile or lino.

+1 yNo but I saw it happen after at least 20 years of only seeing it in the cartoons. A business man on the way to catch a bus or train. He stepped on it and actually went flying, there was no saving this man. It's as hilarious as the cartoons.

+1 yBananas? Why is there just a peel left over? Are these bananas being used for anything in particular?

11 ReplyNo. That's not even possible because the peel just sticks to the ground. I've never slipped and fallen on anything before but very wet ice in the winter after raining.
