O love doing both. I play with my family and friends some board games and so far i am unbeatable for the last 4 months in RISK (Green army rules) known for being in second place in bowling, am the first one to lose in monopoly :P and no one has better poker face than mine but i do lose a lot and win a lot too (we play for fun and not for money) and many other board games or small physical competitive games and then you have the online games or gaming in general, i am a gamer since i was 4 years old back in 1988 and i have my youtube channel for gaming too, i play with friends and even when we are losing we are laughing our asses off like a unit and it's fun too.

I love gaming in person. I enjoy both kinds however. Back im the day we used to have fun with halo and goldeneye split screen. And now it's mainly Mario party and racing in split screen with friends in person in front of a big screen TV but we totally do both on the same day! We will play a card game or board game in person then we will go right into a video game in person.
But to your question, i don't do online gaming. Mainly because I don't spend money on the online subscription and I don't have the money for the required internet connection. Although I did play dead by daylight which is a lot of fun since you have to survive by running away from famous horror icons which is really fun
I chose option b because this pandemic made me realised that how important it is to be with your family.. Most of the times we are in school, college, office.. How much do we really get to spend with our family.. I wouldn't want to play online games because I seriously feel that my eyes really get hurt with too much time on mobile.. And playing games with your family really makes you feel like a kid again!
I've never played online before. When I've seen others stream, people online just seem petty and rude and cuss too much for my taste. I prefer playin solo at home. But i used to invite lots over to take turns playing GTA 5 or to battle in mario kart 64. Many years ago tho. Gaming doesn't really interest me these days unless occasionally playin Forza Horizon 3 or Sims 3

So I have 3 brothers and I lived in a household where growing up there was only 1 computer/1 console... now not being the oldest meant it was rarely in my possession. I moved to Uni at 19 and a couple of house mates had consoles so I always used there's but I genuinely have never had a games console all of my own (had plenty of laptops so essentially had access to online games), but what I'm basically saying is I think my love of sport is down to the fact I played so many person to person games as opposed to online games.
Online. Cause i am better at online games. Online with friends too even my dad plays online with me sometimes. In person i don't have anyone to play any games with and even then i only really like monopoly and yugioh Which yeah find someone who likes Monopoly lol, Then Yugioh well it's pretty much trash due to power creep and the meta been awful so let alone that be hard to find someone Irl who will play it, But play it with a good fair deck and not just broken ass cards.
Online for me, but only because I don't have anyone local that likes to game, especially my age 🙄
Obviously gaming with friends in person is always better! But for those of us that are introverts, or live in cities where that's not feasible, online is the best way to connect with fellow gamers.I wasted a shit load of My life playing video games and around 45 they just didn't entertain Me anymore. I'd say though that inviting people over to play board games would be a fun thing to do for couples as long as there is beer or wine. Hell I used to have a blast playing magic so maybe I should build some decks.
Because meeting you in person to play games makes the environment more sweet and damn interactive, but being alone even if you fail you be like damn I lost I'm done with this I'm not gonna play again, but with friends you fail they laugh at you so you get motivated to never give up, there's more socialization when you play games in person
I completely agree with you! I enjoy when my friend comes over for a sleepover, we play games, watch movies and have snacks. It's awesome, although it hasn't happened since January due to the virus, but as soon as the virus is gone it will be back to normal 🙂
I like playing games with real people... not so much on line games bc it gets tiring and not much fun when you actually have people around you to compare your skills with another human than with a computer that can out win you at anytime.
both equally, though most of my friends live so far away and due to lockdown, and c19 measures online is often the safer choice these days, especially due to me and some of my friends being in a risk catagory
It’s not even close. In person, real human interaction is the best all around. When possible no electronic devises and actually look at people when you speak to them and not have the head buried in the phone.
I prefer old-fashioned games. They seem to be a dying activity these days though. I don't know of very many people who like games that aren't electronic.
I like to play Scramble and I use to do it when I went to this psyche rehab, this is a place where people who are mentally ill / suffers substance abuse can go there and play games, listen to music, just enjoy socialization.. This is step up from going to Partial Hospitalization, Partial has groups, people talk their issues over, some people are worst then others all depends.
In person, but I used to love to play poker online way back when there was that thing called "Yahoo Games". It wasn't gambling with real money and it was fun because it was also like a chatroom.
I liked your question and gave it a "thumbs up."
I used to like playing games with other people. But people began to change and become more triggered in games. I've seen toxic arguments break out.
So now I enjoy online games. This way I don't have to put up with the BS.in person just hanging out slow cooking some food on the grill, drinking beers talking about dumb shit
I usually play video games and online games. Most don't do board and card games as much.
Together in person, like Sheepshead, Gin, Rummy 500, Nurts, Cananasta or some the biggies card games we play
B for sure - in person especially is so much better like you said - cool about the day yesterday. I need one of those soon :)
I'm not a huge gamer. I think drinks at the pub and a few smokes is good, but I do love chess, so a board on the table is a good idea, I'll bring that.
I like playing games with people that are physically there and not a random person online. Even though I play online more because I have no one to play with
Lol I prefer it when me and my friends play online games together.
