Hell no! This is one of the worse places to come for advice on the internet.

No offense to some of you lovely people on here. There are several of you on here that do give wonderful, constructive advice, and take the time to help others: thank you.

However, in the past when I have come on here asking serious questions or needed input on a situation, I didn't receive any help, or anything useful. And I learned the hard way not to ask a lengthy question because most people are too lazy to read it!
Yet ask a random, silly, or a sexual based question: everyone and their mom decides to offer "help."

I try to help people on here when they have a relationship issue. I had one guy I helped actually messaged me back privately and thanked me for helping him with an issue with his girlfriend.

No lol not actually fix, but I will say some of the older guys on here are pretty wise and give advice that can give you a new perspective.

On the other spectrum some people give pretty bad advice, like an example, some people on here are in their late 20s, 30s, never having been in a relationship their entire life giving out advice, like I just have some concerns people actually listen to these people.

A girl asked about advice with this guy she was talking to on a dating site, and I kinda talked her through that... started to follow her. She stuck with that guy and always asked for advice on how to keep him happy and all that and I would always answer. She would say as I suggested and tell me how it went. Almost two years later they're married and living together. Either she's pulling my leg (I've seen photos so I doubt that), or I did help in some way. That said, I think that was just by chance it all worked. No one here (generally) is an expert on any of the stuff discussed. If some bit of advice works, consider yourself lucky.

It's not a good site to come to if you are seeking genuine advice to a problem. It doesn't have a good reputation for actually helping. There's other sites I'd turn to if I did need advice from a stranger on the internet

i was trying to figure out perfect angle to the toilet seat as a compromise with my so. i thought not about 45 degree angle because there is some pooping and not just peeing and so guys have that overlap with girls where they are required 2 sit down. so i searched poop/pee ratio of guys and was working towards angle of about 37 degrees. then someone said i should stop being doormat and now i just keep the seat up

It's not too exciting, but I pretty much asked why I wasn't getting any female attention and how to get a girlfriend a while ago, and I got all these girls telling me to grow up and stop being a waste of air. I don't really understand it, but after reading some nasty comments and DMs, I sobered up and became a functioning human being.

I most certainly have. G@G, when used correctly, is a great way to get a feel for a particular topic that you may not be well versed in. Of course there will be trolls, but aside from the trolls, this is a great tool.
