Is it wrong to be terrified of clouds?

Question

Clouds are made of water, they're effectively lakes floating in the sky and weigh hundreds of tonnes. If the water particles suddenly all clumped together into one huge blob it would come crashing down and crush whatever was underneath. I know it normally comes down gradually and safely as rain but if it decided to go all at once it would crush your house. I reckon some could devastate a city but no one seems to care, everyone is just living in blissful ignorance, wake up people.

Right now there's a huge cloud over my house so I'm sheltering in the cloud bunker just in case. I know scientists say it can't happen but scientists don't know everything and get things wrong all the time. It wasn't that long ago they said only birds could fly.

I'm convinced the Chinese could easily make a device that could control clouds and make them fall out of the sky. I suspect many ufo sightings are really cloud engineering vessels sent to manipulate clouds.

I'm thinking of buying a gun so I can shoot clouds and let the water out gradually so it can't hurt anyone. You don't get many clouds over Texas because everyone has guns.

You have no reason to fear clouds.

Once the condensation rises high enough it turns into ice, which give it more weight, and it melts as it comes back down to the ground.

More heavier pieces of ice have traveled higher in the atmosphere, causing it to be colder, and so it remains ice as it falls from the sky.

Depending on the altitude of the cloud, you get results such as,
Snow, Sleet, or hail.

There hasn't been too many cases of fatal sized hail in all commonality recently in specific regions. I've noticed this occurs in strange regions, like North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas. I've only ever experienced sleet or hail about the size of half an ice cube here in Ohio, and we are further from the equator, and experience way more snow storms than down south.

I wouldn't be afraid of clouds.

Fun Fact:

The United States Air Force has a weather manipulation device called the HAARP system, that looks like a bunch of antennas sticking out of the ground. There is one confirmed site in Alaska and is visible from Google maps!

What it does is it releases gasses up the antennas, and the antennas have an electrical charge, that charges the ions of the gases, they they create different chemical reactions in the atmosphere.

It was originally a device to study global warming, but now it is a device to prevent it, and can even have catastrophic uses, such as tidal waves, tsunamis, earth quakes, all sorts of different things.

If we got into war with a country, for whatever reason, we could suffocate their rations and make them too weak to fight, giving us the advantage.

It's amazing what we could do when we have our minds put together though! Battling global warming! That's amazing!!

But I think we should have abandoned ancient technology that produces fumes harmful to the ozone, and we wouldn't need to fight global warming. That would have been way smarter, AND saved trillions of dollars for the US, and the Globe

I've found that there are good clouds and bad clouds.
They can be identified by color, shape, size, suspicious activity, etc.
I'm not paranoid regarding clouds, but I do keep my eyes open as to what the clouds around me are up to.
Just your average, basic cloud awareness, you know.

I've thought about getting a really long stick and jabbing it into a really high, frozen cloud, then I'd pull it down real fast and pour raspberry SnoCone syrup all over it, and eat it all up real fast.

I don't know if I should laugh or not.

Yes, I flown through clouds in four and six seater planes. It makes flight bumpy and tough to go through. It will overwork the engine. Flying through storm clouds is the worse. But let's look at the idea, rain falls because particles accumulate that make the water heavy enough to overcome the amount of humidity in the air to desorb. Well what would it take to make your scenario work? Imagine if a large ship allowed the air pass through it to "flash" freeze the water into ice. That's hail, so the chunks are huge just not as large as you think the would flatten your house. So, maybe condensing the water in the air then dumping it like a waterfall, it would take a large vessal still. If I was going to build a weapon, I would freeze the clouds and drop huge chunks "size of a car" to do real destruction. Well a missile would make more sense, then floating a large vessal that is vulnerable.

I'm not a paranoid conspiracy theorist or anything, but I've always been suspicious that clouds are a clever method of concealment by malevolent aliens. The clouds are meant to lull everyone into a false sense of security until the day that the aliens decide to strike. Lightning is actually high energy weaponry.

I'm not going to the improbability of what you're saying, Remember, though, whatever goes up must come down. There has never been an instance where a bullet left earth and sailed into space. Therefore, if you shoot a bullet at a cloud, not only is it possible to kill someone on the ground, but the cloud will laugh at you for trying such a silly attempt.

probably you should be more concerned about lightning. Clouds will not fall out of the sky. The chinese probably have other ways of killing all Americans. I heard that if all Chinese people jumped up and down at the same time it would create a tidal wave that would destroy the whole west coast.

It is a phobia like any other.

However, as a pilot, we were trained to avoid clouds. I flew into a cloud once (with an instructor) and a few seconds later I heard the engine screaming. I looked at the instruments and I was in a powered dive. The instructor allowed me to recover, and learn my lesson.

It is just a phobia; everybody has their phobias including myself.
