I have two middle names and I’m thinking of dropping them? Should I?

I have two middle names but they’re quite nice middle names Maria and Ileana but I am thinking that four names is long and am 50/50 on dropping them.

Some input will be helpful.

I have a close male friend who suggested dropping the two middle names as it is really long. I was considering changing the spelling of the first name because I saw some forums where people called it boring but I always really liked the name. The thing is that my full name is hardly ever used and only is really there on some legal documents if ever so I felt like it would be too much stress to drop them for no reason.

Its special. Just leave it be. I used to want to give my future kids two middle names. But after working for the gov, i see how difficult documents with long names can be. So i’ll give them one middle name

Not really. They just come written in official documents and sometimes I am asked to confirm my full name if there is legal need otherwise I pretty much never use them.

Personally, I'm probably going to have more than three names by the time I settle on my official name-change. Have as many as you want.

It seems like it from looking at the name but no I don’t have Hispanic ancestry although my dark hair, dark eyes and olive tinted light-medium yellow complexion may make it seem like I might have. Usually from my appearance people guess Mediterranean/Middle Eastern. As far as I am aware I am a pure breed Indian. My name is just that way due to being Catholic.

You just may not use them on a daily basis. They will still be in papers, but you will go by your first name only.

yeah, we only need one middle name. drop it and go ahead it is your life, but also no one really has to know what your middle names are too. i rarely use my middle name myself.
