Is pleasure a cause or a goal?

I personally think it is a goal. The more you work or do whatever you have to do, the more pleasure you will get. In this particular and unique instance it be in this order. First quality, then quantity and then both huge quantity of highest quality.

It depends. At times we start doing things having pleasant feelings. Other times we get pleasure during the process or as a result.

It depends from person to person. For me I find pleasure in music so I have set my goals related it too.

Like let's say someone has this goal to eat 70 tacos in order to get a lifetime of free tacos that's a goal someone would try to achieve to get free food. It could also be a pleasure as well since that person could really like tacos. As a cause they're doing it for free food.

Pleasure can feel like a reward. Sometimes it happens due to effort; sometimes luck.

Pleasure is an effect, a byproduct of something else being met, or occurring.

It's most certainly a goal, but not all things can be manifested by sheer will or desire.
