Oh by the way YeeeppppPpPppp
How do I get my cat to watch a Lion documentary with me?
Oh by the way YeeeppppPpPppp
Do you have a 4K tv? He’s gone now, but when I first bought a 4K, my cat seemed to notice the TV for the first time in his 18, 19 years. I had a huge projection screen TV that was doozy to move and dispose of, so when I first got the new TV, I just laid the box down and used it to elevate it enough to comfortably watch from the couch, but it was still basically on the floor.
Anyway, I started watching Mutual Of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom on YouTube, which was an old nature show back in the 60s, 70s, 80s, maybe even into the 90s. The resolution on these old videos was actually pretty remarkable. You could tell it was old, but still blew my mind to see it so clearly after growing up watching it all grainy looking on old school tube televisions, when it was already 15-25 years old at the time.
So I’m watching one night, and I think there was something where a cougar was chasing a bobcat off it’s hunting territory. My cat comes walking in, sees the screen, and just froze in his tracks😂 I’m wondering if it’s because it was down at his level, plus the 4K clarity. Like it looked bold, but also had depth, like the animals were the foreground, and things behind them were further away…but it was like background level 1, background level 2, etc. Whatever it was, he was fooled, lmao. He seemed…not quite scared, but cautiously fascinated. So I don’t know…maybe a good quality TV at floor level will get your cat’s attention. But I usually don’t expect cats to do anything I want them to, haha, that’s just who they are.
First, have a conversation with your cat about his family tree and ask him why he is reluctant to learn more about his family. Maybe 'family' is a touchy subject for him. Perhaps he feels abandoned by his mom and maybe he's angry that he never met his dad.
Second, emphasize some reasons why he may want to learn more about his family. Perhaps your cat has a rich uncle with no children and your cat may want to be included in said uncle's will. Or your cat may want to connect with distant relatives for the purpose of sharing holiday cards.
Aw, thanks!
Awwww he's so cute, well try to lay out some treats for him, pour them in your hand and feed him so he can watch it for hopefully a few more minutes, make him to full to move ~
He clearly thinks he’s higher up the evolutionary scale, he lives in a home and has a maid.

That's so sweet.
You might find your cat is more interested in videos on youtube which have sounds of other cats, though you should be careful about what the cats are saying which could be difficult.
Thanks man. This was a bit of a troll question jusy for laughs, but I really did try to watch with him and he just talked off lol
I have tried to show him "videos for cats" on YouTube which are just birds just flying around, he is a bit curious of those. I'll definitely try something more suitable for him. I do enjoy seeing a kitten watch something on YouTube lol
Beautiful cat try eat thing something about birds and see what happens
Cats don't give a fuck. Your feline will decide when to pay attention.
That cat is fully aware of his own superiority
He does not need a blood line to prove this
Lmao you show him lion King movie. He would wanna be Simba then

Dangle something in front of the screen
What kind of cat do you have?
Aw so pretty, what's the difference between them and the Siamese cats?, They look the same
In short, siamese cats have short fur, Birmans have medium to long fur.
-Siamese cats are very loud and active, Birmans are very chill and only meow when they have something to say... maybe a a few meows a day, thats it.
-Both are very affectionate.
-Birmans come in many colours like blue, red, cream, lilac, seal and chocolate. They come in pointed or tabby coats.
I'm not a huge fan of siamese cats mainly because of how loud they are, plus they can be quite clingy. Birmans can be needy but they don't go overboard in my opinion.
Because I was thinking about getting a Siamese cat. I want a clingy cat 😅
nope I want a Siamese cat🤗
What a cute cat you have!
