Have any of you guys had the dreaded covid yet?

I haven't been sick since November 2019 when I had an annoying upper respiratory thing. I didn't have a fever and wasn't congested. I just had a severe cough for a few days that tapered off but didn't disappear completely for almost two weeks.
There are all kinds of infections. We've all been sick before. It cracks me up that since the terror campaign began, people think that everything is covid. They run out and get tested for covid but not influenza A, B, C, or D, or pneumonia or TB. And the covid tests can even tell the difference between covid-19 and other common coronaviruses that cause upper respiratory infections.
I can't even figure out why covid is so "dreaded" when over 99.5% of people who get it recover without any treatment and the average age of mortality is around 78 years old. People under 40 have almost zero risk of death. And those who do die have an average of 2.5 co-morbidities.
Yes, it can kill some people, but so does that annual winter flu. People seem unaware of that.
No and because I'm following protocol as half the population has not will get infected and unlike the common cold do not know what the eventual outcome will be. Also hospitalization will suffer due to increased activity for non vaccinated people. Everybody in my circle has not contracted any viruses or flu. So were doing it right. In order for this to slow and go we need another 50,000 people to pass from this epidemic and then we an see a rebound. Sad.
Remember this, please; it's going to be downright hilarious when you all catch it.
Not yet-
With strong emphasis on yet. I work in a hospital so... yeah. I know my day is coming soon. In the meantime, I consider myself very lucky and blessed to have dodged that bullet. Especially since most of my coworkers I've been around and exposed to have had it.

Yes, I finally caught it back in October and barely new I was sick, but was tested and was surprised I had it since I thought it would be the worst sickness ever... and it wasn't. I work from home most days so I didn't even miss work and only felt slightly sick for about 3 or 4 days.
My boss came back to work looking like a walking dead character. I got it at the same time but was vaccinated and only had mild cold like symptoms. Typical of a vaccinated break through case.
He must only weigh 150 pounds now (we are both six two)
Wow; I was wondering what happened to you! Glad you're ok, Ultimega!
Oh my gosh. That's terrible. I'm glad you're better now.
Had it when they first started freaking out about it. Got it late January 2020 and the cough stayed with me for about a month, although I believe the reason was because my I had a couple of broken ribs and couldn't breathe properly.
Of course- I'm responsible enough to take a tiny risk to save lives and livelihoods. If you're under sixty and in decent health, it's nothing worth worrying about.
My sister did and my girlfriend's sister and her sister's husband and children had it (her children, his were with his ex wife).
Yes. I did a year ago. The only symptom I really noticed was my losing my sense of taste
I just got it and recovered from it a few days ago, hated the whole process and everything.
I think I did in Feburary-March of 2020, I was super sick. Haven't been sick since
Not that I am aware of.
I've never had the test. I've not felt sick.
How bad did it get for you? I've been very lucky so far.
Yeah. I broke my foot this spring and when I went to the hospital they gave me covid.
Glad to see you got over it.
Unfortunately yeah. But I've had worse cold and hangovers tbh. Having said that I've had 3 jabs
Thankfully not because somehow I keep dodging it even though I know so many people that have gotten it
No, I have dodged that bullet, but I know some people who have had it.
I got covid in October 2021. Felt totally normal.
I'm sorry you had it, (( Hugs ))
Nope, and I'll probably never get it.
Yeah, last week. Just got over it.
I think I am just getting over it.
