How can anyone not return someone's money?

I don't understand the mind of a scammer that owes you money. Meanwhile I'm very punctual (well my parents are the same way too) and will always return someone's money, my ex boyfriend scammed me and kept my money. I wonder how can someone like that even sleep well at night?

I would be feeling like garbage and my own guilt would force me to return their money.

It's sad those selfish, trashy humans know who to ask for money and who to scam. Long ago my ex boyfriend used to call me ''Ms Goody Two Shoes'' and then once told me that I have a pure heart.
This really sucks. There are us that have no malice in their minds and don't even want to owe people money (I don't even like asking for money either) and those awful, selfish humans.

Only help people in need without expecting it back, need to protect your money and your heart, they will steal from you and break your heart to top it up. They dont care about anyone but themselves. It's a dog eat dog world out there for them. They sleep peacefully at night because they dont have hearts or a conscious. Just know karma will get them

It sure takes a lack conscience to be a total disgusting, trashy person. That scumbag of my ex boyfriend is happily living his life knowing he owes me $1,300 (he owes his own mother money too) meanwhile I'm already returning someone's money no matter how much it was, even if it was just $10.
I'm still impressed to be honest. I don't have it in me to be a cheating, lying scammer owning people money.

yeah my ex boyfriend was very obsessed with my interest in growing my own business that it got to the point where he started trying to convince me how my father should already have me included in his willing will. Meanwhile I was thinking ''WTF, I want my parents to live till 100, I'm not even thinking about living wills'', he kept saying ''but you'll never know when they can die, they can get into an accident you never know'', etc.
Needless to say yes he was in fact, a real POS. I got rid of someone that was on the beginning stage of being a true monster.

I figured out he wanted my future restaurant business because he wanted half of my money, half of all my assets. Yeah they sure think about themselves only. That's the only way he would've married me... for money. Scumbag
