What was the scariest dream you ever had?

This is going to sound strange but I think I'm only capable of what people call to be lucid dreams. That's been the case since I was a little boy. So I've had some really horrifying dreams if I described them that sound, but they weren't scary to me in the sense that horror films aren't scary to me since there's always a part in the back of my mind that this isn't real.

Yet there were some dreams that disturbed me just based on the idea of it, even though I knew it wasn't real at the time of dreaming. So the most disturbing ones to me were like ones where I accidentally killed someone while driving.

Also ones like where I got into arguments with my friends and they abandoned me, ones of this nature. They don't sound very scary but what disturbed while dreaming and when I awoke is the prospect that this might actually happen in the future.

I was sitting in a chair facing a mirror. I could see my abdomen and up and then a few different robot arms, like car assembly style, they came down with different surgical knives and slowly just cut layers and segments off me as I just sat still and looked at the reflection until I was just eyes and some red patches of meat and my bones

About others, being made to watch loved ones drown.

World ending in a very strange way. Things (including they sky) started slowly losing color, then once they were fully colorless/black and white they slowly disappeared into nothingness. Remember scaredly running trying to avoid being a victim, just as I started losing color I woke up in a deep sweat.

I had a dream that my son had died. My wife and I were holding each other and crying. When I woke up it took me a couple of minutes for me to realize it was only a dream.
