What is your favorite thing about the month of April?

About a week into it now, what do you like most about this month?

I love Easter cause I am part of three art groups through zoom and I get to do art events on zoom 3 times a week, I also finished the draft for my first book and I am working on my second book draft now and I run two newsletters, one independently and one as a team with other published authors and I’m losing weight through experimentation and dietary learning, I also have more money saved because my dad halved my rent so now i have more money to buy beauty products and books and food and crafts. And I finally have a reliable list of unused pen names so I have less work to do, I also found study templates to help me with my research projects so getting new knowledge is easier now and my parents have begun planting vegetables again so in a few weeks or months, I will have home made kale smoothies again. Our Russian kale is supposed to last two years and can survive the winter weather so saves us planting time.

Earth day 🌎 cause everything else about April pisses me off. I remember being pregnant with my second son and just hoping that I'd make it to May with him so he wouldn't have a April birthday. Thankful he was born on May 1st! I don't know why but I hate April but I just do 🙃

Total sarcasm there, can you tell? actually it is that work starts to slow a bit, it is kind of nice and the winter starts to thaw out. I might actually be able to go hiking, riding or camping in the desert now. Would be nice to get some April showers though.

My husband and my godmother's birthday are at the end of April, but both of my grandmother's died in April also. The weather here in Wisconsin is crappy in April too, but not below 0! lol I guess April is ok.

My husband and I met 11 years ago April the 20th. He proposed to me 2 years later - on April the 20th & the year after April the 20th we got married.  So I'm very fond of April the 20th. 😆

I love this time of year as I enjoy watching the tulips, daffodils, crocuses, etc come up from the seemingly dead ground. I also love the time I spend with my family celebrating our Easter traditions.
