Is imagining fake scenarios all the time ok?

And do you know what's it called? I wanted to do a small research on it on my own, but I mostly find phenomenons of fake scenarios about future or worst case scenarios.
I tend to just imagine stuff that makes me feel in certain way but not necessarily will happen or might happen. Sometimes I even imagine if I had superpower or something fantastic like that.
In other words, I'm creating whole other world in my head. And I got so used to it, that I can't go an hour without that. If I have to concentrate about something for a long time, I feel a need to rest and zone out in my fake scenarios.
Is it normal? And how can I get more information about this phenomenon?
