My birthday is next weekend, what should I do to celebrate?

In our family birthday person picks out whatever they want for dinner. Usually it's their favorite like my dad's is a bushel of crabs cooked in beer and old bay and mine is buffalo wings and cheese steak. And you can pick out whatever kind of dessert you want. We also home cook for birthday person I'd their favorite is home cooked. Sometimes I'll opt for homemade pot roast and then pie with ice cream. I'm more of a pie guy myself. You can always go out and party too but around 26 or 27 I started to taper down on the crazy stuff. Lastly I used to love having a bonfire at night too with good company and booze. Not sure if you're a fan of that. We'd go out to the woods to do it. Always fun imho

I love Outback Steakhouse :P... why don't you go out in the nearest city and get dinner; or do something fun! For example; i'm 31. I live in California. Something I always wanted to do that I never got to do is go Great White Shark watching on a tour in Monterey Bay. So for my birthday thats what I am going to do.

You and me both, well I'm Monday not the weekend... but I get to celebrate by working the weekend and all next week... Hooray for birthday celebrations.

I'd say not work would be best, maybe do a weekend get away at a little resort and do something fun while there.

Send your son to one of the grandparents to sleep over, get a nice dinner of your choosing and figure it out from there. Not very original but kids make parent time more difficult to come by so when an opportunity presents itself take it.
