My friend said when she was little, her mom told her all the time, people will always try to short change you and give you less than what you are worthy of, the trick is not to take it personally, which is a challenge that takes the average person a really long time to accept

I don't know, doesn't matter to me much...

I have never asked or demanded for respect... I respect others as much as I can instead, and that's what matters to me and then people reciprocate as they see fit

respect is something you earn and people give, not something you feel entitled to or feel like you deserve it so it must be given

besides that, I give people respect by default... lol

from me, you can only start losing it... and some people do that right away
