it won't or at least not until 2024 maybe 2026. blackrock larry fink and some asshole who's a chairman of the board of the federal reserve in boston who's in his 70's caused this mess since both have millions and billions invested in real estate and don't want to lose that
blackrock larry fink was buying neighborhoods (not just houses but whole neighborhoods) at a time forcing people out of their homes and when they wouldn't move he would send gangs with guns to people's neighborhoods terrorizing the area forcing people to move and sell.
the old geezer from the federal reserve who works in the boston unit he's been in cohoots with corporate businesses to build new buildings and owning them which was costing millions
both these assholes have huge bucks on the line which is why they been so hard on keeping this real estate market frenzy going.
the popular narrative is because of the rent freeze during the pandemic/plandemic and the eviction memorandum landlords couldn't evict tenants for not paying rent so landlords were forced to pay that huge mortgage on their rentals. when the memorandum ended those tenants were evicted but to make up for lost money and profits these landlords jacked up the rent on the new tenants

It’s all about supply & demand & right now there’s a housing shortage & people are paying up the ass for houses. Down the road as interest rates go up less people will buy & prices will slowly drop & all I can say is that I feel sorry for anyone who bought in the current market because they got ripped off & if anyone who sold a house good for them they made a killing. Prices will drop really soon, maybe around winter.

In the US, the Fed is expected to raise rates another one basis point by the end of 2022. At that point, mortgage interest rates will peak around 8 percent, which will lower demand for house purchases. Basic rule of capitalism... price is directly proportional to demand. That means housing prices should start to drop by early 2023.

In a year or less they are way out of site so when they fall, they will land hard I paid cash for mine so the landing will be less, and this house will be the last house I have so whatever happens doesn't matter but feel sorry for people that bought them for an investment

Canada has a lready seen a housing market crash with rate hikes i think most of the us will follow but the core problem areas of LA SF NYC and DC will probably be immune through the crash

@vetchx your funny.. its a particular place in NYC which never will be. Houses here go for $1,000,000 regardless. and HALF THESE HOUSES aren't EVEN WORTH. They sell them for $1,000,000 and run to Florida.
