Depends. Are you thinking of settling in any area you’d buy a house at. You are young so I’d say maybe apartment would definitely be cheaper. Especially with the house prices going up and house crisis. I’d say apartment.

unless privacy and independence is something you value enough to spend significant money on I would encourage you to live with parents or friends. money spent on rent is in the long run money wasted from ainvestment persepctive

Stay at home if you can and save your money. Renting can trap you because of the high rent rates and year long rental contracts which can prevent you from being able to save much money.
