Racism is the categorizing of people of people by race: dividing people and reaching conclusions about them based upon racial characteristics. It has nothing to do with whether you have a “negative” view of one particular race. If you believe that you can divide people by race or that racial characteristics allow you to reach decisions about people, you are practicing racism; whether you hate any groups of people or not.

And racism is, always, malim in se. It does not matter whether you have pure intentions, or you are “one of the good guys,” or you think you are counteracting racism by fighting fire with fire. Racism is always evil.

Yes, that's self-hatred. It's a form of racism and it's even worse than other people hating you because of your race or ethnicity.
It's really sad and the person needs help.
