Facebook and Yelp for sure are very corrupt, which is why they have lost influence. Yelp was great for about a decade, and then they started screwing over businesses (if you didn't pay them, your positive reviews would be "unable to be shown" for no reason) and customers (legit negative views of paying businesses being deleted).
Facebook is even more corrupt. If you have friends there, almost any rule can be broken.
Damn…. Some people do that kind of thing just to damage company. Same industry tactic. Businesses have to allocate monies for this removal process. We don’t care as it gets passed onto the Consumer…
And you would be more concerned about a person's reputation when you paid them up front for a job and they either did lousy work, or didn't finish the job at all? Would you give someone a good review if they ripped you off?

Did you know that a company can sue you for leaving a bad review online?
I don't trust reviews typically anyhow. I mean usually you can tell by the tone whether the person is legit or just has an axe to grind. When I leave a review I try to put my anger aside and say what they did right as well as what they did wrong.
They can sue you even if what you say is true?
Well I'm not saying it happens very often. And if they sue the reviewer they probably feel they have a pretty good case. So if you ask me "they can sue you even if what you say is true"? My response is if they sue you it's most likely what they is just slander. a lot of people embellish when they're angry and complain. And not that I'm defending big business because I'm not. But they have a right to protect their name.
They consider it slander today. Also the truth is a lie now. It is considered revenge and bullying. Try leaving bad ratings on BBB , you can't. Even Ebay , it is like getting a college degree , takes 4 years. They make you wait until you forget.
You can always leave bad feedback on eBay.
You must wait a week to 10 days. By then I am not pissed off anymore
I have no idea. I suspect that once something goes on one of these sites it stays forever in perpetuity.
I have heard that some companies might even pay people to post good reviews about them!
I would imagine that a company would have an eraser on their payroll to clean of bad reviews.
I’m surprised they can do that because I’ve seen bad reviews stay on and also the owner responding to them on the review to try fix their concern
I have always used Google and my local guide score is pretty high so I never seen my reviews ever removed.
Who screwed you, you could screw them back.
I have seen some do it before
Does it matter?
It does if you want to get even. Don't get mad, get even.
I agree it is BS.
