Facebook and Yelp for sure are very corrupt, which is why they have lost influence. Yelp was great for about a decade, and then they started screwing over businesses (if you didn't pay them, your positive reviews would be "unable to be shown" for no reason) and customers (legit negative views of paying businesses being deleted).
Facebook is even more corrupt. If you have friends there, almost any rule can be broken.

Damn…. Some people do that kind of thing just to damage company. Same industry tactic. Businesses have to allocate monies for this removal process. We don’t care as it gets passed onto the Consumer…

Did you know that a company can sue you for leaving a bad review online?
I don't trust reviews typically anyhow. I mean usually you can tell by the tone whether the person is legit or just has an axe to grind. When I leave a review I try to put my anger aside and say what they did right as well as what they did wrong. They consider it slander today. Also the truth is a lie now. It is considered revenge and bullying. Try leaving bad ratings on BBB , you can't. Even Ebay , it is like getting a college degree , takes 4 years. They make you wait until you forget.
I have no idea. I suspect that once something goes on one of these sites it stays forever in perpetuity.
I have heard that some companies might even pay people to post good reviews about them!
I would imagine that a company would have an eraser on their payroll to clean of bad reviews.I’m surprised they can do that because I’ve seen bad reviews stay on and also the owner responding to them on the review to try fix their concern
I have always used Google and my local guide score is pretty high so I never seen my reviews ever removed.
Who screwed you, you could screw them back.
I have seen some do it before
Does it matter?
I agree it is BS.
