Most countries have a few things that everyone that lives there knows about, but the rest of the world overlooks or simply hasn't heard of. What's your favorites?

That Canada's three northern territories (Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut) have stunningly beautiful mountains, some of which are high up in the Arctic (in the case of Nunavut). Although, not every Canadian knows that either. lol The last picture is a bonus pic of the Torngat Mountains in Labrador further south that many people don't know about either.

@bee-hatch Heh. Well, I may live in Canada, but I still haven't seen any of those places... yet anyway. In some ways, Canada is so big and I live so far away (thousands of miles/kilometres in some cases), and those places are so remote it literally feels like another world away. But hopefully one day! 😊

Not sure if it is unique to the U. S. or not, but you can typically go 5mph over the speed limit on regular roads and about 9-10 over on U. S. expressways without getting pulled over as long as it is not a construction or school zone.
