Of course. Calling something a “conspiracy theory” is one of the most common ways to marginalize people who have information the powers that be don’t want everyone to have. It comes naturally to me to question why they don’t want certain things to be known.
A couple of examples: Area 51 was denied for decades and everyone who talked or wrote about it was called a conspiracy nut. In the early 2000s, declassified reports admitted the existence and general purpose of area 51.
Decades ago Alex Jones was talking about a billionaire boys club that hosted pedo parties for world leaders and elites, including US politicians and celebrities. He’s been almost entirely marginalized, thrown off ever imaginable social media platform. Now we know about Epstein and Maxwell, his “suicide” after being taken off watch by a professional therapist and she’s on suicide watch despite never once suggesting she’s suicidal. Yet, the government is either refusing to investigate their contacts, or to expose what they already know. Meanwhile Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew have all been directly linked to Epstein and Maxwell.
In my opinion, people who DENY conspiracy theories are the weirdos. Some of them not only do i believe are true but are ongoing without most of us knowing.
In particular mass surveillance, be it tracking a wanted cybercriminal hacker, a big money making employee, who busts his ass (70 hours/week) for the money and also circumvents high taxes or the hobo on the outskirts, who is harassing pedestrians for money, although this is not a secret anymore.

Thanks to Edward Snowden those intel got exposed to us. However only few care about it but whatever. We are the crazy ones running from phantomic threats.I don't "believe" them but I consider them. I think people SHOULD ask questions and investigate. I don't give politicians and mainstream media any credibility. And the official narratives are almost always, simplistic bullshit.
Anyone who doesn't know that there are conspiracies is a moron. Many of them happen right out in the open but not enough people realize what's happening. The truth eventually comes out after the damage is done.
The term "conspiracy theory" was invented by the CIA as a way to discredit anyone who questioned the official narrative.Yes absolutely. I believe the government had something to do with the assassination of Martin Luther King. I believe that the meat and dairy industry is burying a lot of facts about how bad these foods are for our body. I believe the fishing industry is burying the number of dolphins they accidentally kill when they fish. I believe that the American cancer association gets money from me and dairy industries even though those are carcinogens.
The term, "conspiracy theory" is usually placed on theories that are, by and large, facts!! It's done so to make them sound like they are nothing of the kind!
Oswald killing Kennedy by himself IS a conspiracy THEORY!! There's NO facts to back it up and it's literally and physically impossible for him to have done it! But, when the FACTS are presented, THOSE are called the "conspiracy theories" so the cover-up of what REALLY happened can continue!! Because people "in charge" CLAIM the facts are bullshit, all the stupid people in the world blindly believe them WITHOUT bothering to think things through! "Sure! I'll believe the magic bullet story, just as long as you keep feeding me more booze while I sit here and watch the titty channels!!"
Other conspiracy theories are that we never went to the moon, that the Earth is flat and that there's no such thing as aliens and they've never come here. The US Government can't balance a budget. I could go on and on about the ignorance coming out of the US government. Yet we are to believe these same folks are capable of all the things they have been accused of over the years? I doubt 10% of any of it is true. As an engineer, I am a man of science. I believe what I can see and/or prove. Do I think there have been some conspiracies? yes, I do. The primary problem that works against them is time. I could list several cases that some say were/are conspiracies. I refuse to dig that rabbit hole by naming them. Just know almost all of them have things in common that work against it. While a conspiracy is possible, over time they are about as stable as nitro.
No. Conspiracy theories are a con by design. They take pieces of truth to give the appearance of legitimacy and construct a broad fictional conspiracy around them that has no basis in fact. Much of it is created to influence how people think. Such as sowing mistrust in a vaccine or in free elections or a number of other things. These conspiracies are created for a reason and, unfortunately, a lot of people are susceptible to them.
I know this one's a bit weird, but mask mandates are/were a thing not necessarily to reduce the spread of Covid but to see if it would help in cities with lots of air pollution (like LA or NY). Among the million other things the government keeps hidden, they prefer not to talk about the effects of air pollution on average everyday city people. I believe it is worse than anyone thinks.
No. Folk believe in them because they want to feel special. They have an extra bit of knowledge that opens up the world just for them, and nobody else except a special few knows it. It's a pretty narcissistic way of thinking.
The government is behind many of the missing persons cases, and they take them to underground facilities for experiments
Some, a lot of them sound and are pretty idiotic but by the same token, some conspiracy theories that I've heard since I was 9 or 10 has already revealed themselves to be true these past few years lol.
A few. The one that ties everything together is simply, Republicans are the root of all evil. At every turn they will discriminate, murder, take normal peoples right’s away, attack, etc. so in return normal people have to protect themselves, at all times, against them. By any means

No, but I love them though. I really do, because they are entertaining. I mean, some are so elaborate in regards to "what the government is doing." Yeah, sure. The government can't even function normally on any given day, but somehow through a conspiracy theory, can pull off the most amazing thing ever. Ha!
Yeah, a big shout out to all the tin foil peeps out there. You keep it interesting for us.I believe in the conspiracy theory that some of the most outlandish theories are planted to purposefully attract crazies. This allows other, real conspiracies to be subconsciously associated with the outlandish conspiracies making the general population far less likely to ask questions.
If you have some theory about why it is people believe in them, and that it’s some sort of psychological emotional issue…you’re simply a fool that hasn’t ever really considered the theory and is dismissing it programmatically. You clearly don’t read declassified govt docs admitting conspiracy theories in the past. There will be more admissions in the future
I’m not sure I just have to check online to find out what I’m supposed to think…
Not really, but my favorite is the theory that JFK's head "just did that."
?No. The vast and overwhelming majority of conspiracy theories are just too stupid to be true.
