So I'd like to know if any of y'all have swatled your pet like a baby or just babied it in general ever I want to hear just the funniest stories

I only had cats for pets after my wife and I got married 25 years ago. But we've had several cats since then. We never dressed any up, though. LOL

For our first 22 years we had a kitty named Rosie that we kept indoors. She slept in our bed and would snuggle up against either me or my wife at night. She'd lie down and stretch out tight against my side with her back against me. Or, she's settle against the back of my wife's butt and thighs when she was sleeping on her side with her legs curled up.

She was a great cat. We used to play a couple versions of tag together. She did have a cute collar when she was a Kitten.

We have a cat now named Coco who sometimes crawls under the bed covers. She also likes to lie on my wife's chest and gaze at her face, almost nose to nose.

One time, we tried putting a pretty halter on her to see if she would walk on a leash. Once that halter was on, she acted like a dead cat. On her side, totally limp. We could drag her but she wouldn't move. LMAO

We have another cat named Poatie who likes to crawl under rugs and also under our covers. He likes to bring toys with him under rugs. So if we see a lump, we have to be careful. LOL

My cat is too sassy for any of that stuff, it will bite and scratch if bothered

I had a cat when I was little that would allow me to dress him in baby clothes, swaddle him in a blanket, and carry him in a baby carrier. I was good about always letting him go when he didn't want to play anymore, so he'd let me do it again the next time.

I do not swaddle any cat. They typically do not like to be put into that position. I have only done it if I bathed a cat but this is rare.

Little known fact: cats hate having their picture taken. Being cute is appalling to such a fierce predator.
