He may not necessarily be angry, but he is definitely excited or scared. His arched back, flat ears, and fluffy tail indicate that he’s extremely stimulated. Young cats will sometimes do this when they are very excited and in the mood to play, but most of the time I would say this is a negative posture.

The hackles and puffed up tail indicate fear, the tilted head and stiff limbs indicate intimidation. Whatever you’re showing this cat, it’s scared and doesn’t want it around and is willing to fight it to get it out of its home.
