Like you have difficulty in pronouncing that word, for me, my word is 'detective'.😂
I need to pause in a sentence to say that word separately. ½ to 1 second of pause is there. But I maintain the speed of the whole sentence that way, hence very few people notice.

It's call rhotacism, or a lall, and it's difficult to fix completely unless you catch it in childhood. Usually people with that impediment have difficulty with R's and L's, and "rural", has them both in large doses!

Just you, plus it's easy when you speak the original "English English" from England. The sound of the word is different and thus easier to say.
