Here are four geography statements... three are false and one is TRUE. Can you identify the TRUE one? Vote for the one you think is TRUE, the others are false.

Mount Kenya in Kenya is the tallest mountain in Africa.

The deepest diamond mine in the world is in Botswana.

South Africa's 11 official languages is the most of any country in the world.

Here is the answer... C

A - FALSE - Africa has most countries, but only 54 (a trick question)
B - FALSE - Mt Kilimanjaro is tallest, 5895 vs 5195 m tall
C - TRUE - Jwaneng mine in Botswana is deepest, at 625 m deep
D - FALSE - Zimbabwe is most, with 16 official languages

I know B is not true, cause that's Mount Kilimanjaro (which also has a very African sounding name).

C, I don't know, but I thought most of the "blood diamonds" came from Sierra Leone.

For D; I don't think South Africa has the most official languages. From what I can recall, the most in any country is like, almost 40 and it's in South America (which has had more colonization than Africa has, anyway. Just about every other country in the world has some claim to South America.)

So it's either A or C. I do think African does have more countries than any other continent in the world (more than Europe or Asia), so I'll guess maybe A? Unless it's a trick question.

A - I just heard today that there are 50-something countries in Africa, so no.

B - no, the tallest is Kilimanjaro (unless that's some rare different name for it)

C - could be. I know there are huge diamond mines in South Africa, and Botswana is its neighbour

D - I think India has more than 11 languages, so no.

I don think Africa has 69 countries, it seems too high. I thought Mt Kilamanjaro was the tallest montain in Africa. And I have no idea about where the diamonds in Afirca are found. I will say South Africa having 11 major languages is the true one. The reason being, I happen to know someone from there who knows Dutch, English, and whatever it is they speak there in S Africa.

So, 11 major languages in S Africa is true.

I see that it was another country that had more languages than S Africa. I didn't think Africa had 69--too many. I dont know where in African diamonds are found but I dio a lot of reading here so I will take note.

Ok, I think A is false. I think the number of countries in Africa might be too high. I tried to count them and I couldn't think more than 50

B- is false. Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest in Africa

D-false. There's another country in Africa with more languages than South Africa, that's in the Guinness world records but don't remember the name. Maybe Kenya or Namibia?

Yeah, you're probably right. I caught the thing about "Mt. Kenya" instead of Mt. K, I have no idea about diamond mines, and the languages thing seemed legit, but also I wasn't sure about other countries.
I chose A, but then realized afterwards 69 countries seems a little high, I forgot he could lie about the number, and was focused more on if Africa had the most countries of any continent, which I think it does. So I picked A then realized my mistake. Not sure the exact number but I would say it's probably closer to 50.

OK, I thought the number of countries in Africa might be too high, and sure enough it is, even if Sao Tome, Cape Verde and Seychelles are counted. It looks like the diamond mine in Botswana, which has a large diamond mining industry, is correct.
