How do you usually spend your Sundays?

Question

I haven't been feeling too hot, so today I've just been lounging around. I usually prepare for the week ahead on Sundays tho. I have about 2 more weeks left of summer break before its time to head back to work and prepare for the school year. Gotta make it count.

Sundays are my prep days as well.

-I pop out my task management book and write down my daily and weekly goals, check in with myself to see how well i did with my last week goals.

-I meal prep usually three to four days out so Friday is usually a wild card day that will get tended too on Wednesday night.

NOTE: I've been pretty intense about my meal prep this year as I really can't afford to eat out and I know how nasty I get attitude wise if I dont eat. If you ever seen the snicker commercials where the people turn into a sassy celebrity. Im like that on crack LMAO.

- Work out whether its with a relaxing bike ride, or indoors with a yoga session or strength workout. Today it was a strength workout so i could release some steam that this goddamn abstinence brings on muahaha.

- Work on my side project hobbies to end my night so i dont feel like Im just living to work.

In the weeks gone by I used to just spend ages in bed doing nothing... Sometimes until like 2 pm.

I stopped inviting my mum around for dinner because she used to take the piss.
Turning up hours after the time I had set.

Even though it was always the same time as when I was growing up 4pm dinner.

Now I have a dog I get up everyday at 6am to get ready to take him out at 6.45am...
We get in and eat at 7 and then head out for the morning walk at 7.30am.

After that we play and then chill out... Depending on what we are doing for the rest of the day.

I think it's important to listen to your body.

I think I'm rather bored as a person so for me I need the extra activity to keep my mind active.
My body doesn't always want to keep up with me...

I normally do nothing. The SO is a devout Catholic- despite being divorced and using birth control (never dare to mention those conflicting beliefs) and goes to mass every Sunday morning.

As for myself, I hate weekends. All of the people who should be working have those two days off and they get in my way. Weekdays rule. No one is on the golf course or at the shooting range, and the stores aren't crowded.

The Bible says the 1st day of the work week "Sunday" you work, so I do. The sabbath is on the 7th day "Saturday " so I rest then, like the bible says and study the word of God (KJV BIBLE) and not the word of a fake preacher with a sweet smile, like a catholic pope for example.

Hahaha Im dreading the upcoming school semester. When in school, Sundays and weekends are often all-nighters doing projects that were assigned Friday and due Monday :-/

But currently, literally lounging. Trying to get in as much chill time before sh*t hits the fan in September.

Sundays are family day in my home. My husband and I will golf a round in the early morning. We then pick up the kids take them out for breakfast/lunch then find some family thing to do. Hard to believe I have a daughter who has spent the summer searching colleges as she begins her senior year at high school

because The DJ don't have a clue how to do it with records and there is no internet or cellphone service where the wedding will be at

Sometimes I like lounging around after worship services relaxing at home. Today I went and visited my sister-in-law who had three stents put in on Wednesday. She is doing great today I helped her with some minor things in her garden. I hope it made her day.

Go to Mass. Then we'll come home and have breakfast, or we'll go to my parents' house and have breakfast there. Then, wherever we go, we'll spend the day relaxing. We might watch some movies or meet up with friends.

Then we end the day with praying the Angelus, having dinner, and praying our family Rosary.

A bloody depressiing day for me. I hate it more than Mondays with the anticipation of the weekemd comong to an end. I manage it as a rocket paced day where I try to get everything done that I kept waiting for the whole week PLUS the 10 new errands that show up on Friday and Saturday. I always fall short despite extending my day till 1-2am before I go to sleep.
