Is it weird I don't believe in god nor ghost but believe in aliens?

Certain people find that ironic. For me it just makes more sense to believe there is a high possibility of life existing on another planet in a different galaxy. After all there are many, different galaxies so life has to exist.

This makes more sense than believing a magical being is watching you from the sky or that dead people (ghosts) are still communicating with you.

I believe in a God, and I can see the argument for aliens, but yeah ghosts are not real that one just doesn't make any sense. Aliens fall under the vastness of the universe category for me, there is so much space that having another evolutionary chain happen makes sense. I believe in God not because of any specific religion or church doctrine but because there have been plenty of times in my life where I just barely got by, not getting killed or injured or made homeless, and that makes me feel like that there must be something bigger out there with some kind of a plan. To me God is like that episode of Futurama were bender meets God. It's all about a light touch, if they do it right you'll never know they were there at all. I don't believe God answers questions, or gives you what you pray for, but it feels like it gives me a greater purpose in life you know?

I do believe there other living creatures found in the deep ocean not discovered yet and believe there are other beings alive out there on other planets.
I don't believe in fictitious beings out there watching you nor getting visiting by matters made up of nothing. I don't believe in Ouija boards either.

It appears your perspective is jaded on some matters. The question is, since you don’t have evidence of any of them, why do you believe in one but not the others? Moreover, why would you use inflammatory language like “fictitious” and hyperbolic descriptions when you don’t know any more about those than the others?

Easy. The ocean, planets and galaxies are already there. That's not a maybe. That is a fact. Therefore it's logical that animals, humans, living creatures or whatever different animals will be found there.

Meanwhile there is nothing to prove or sustain the possibility of the existence of materials nebulous images/manifestations made out of nothing (and non-living).

Well, where you’re going wrong is in your assumptions. You ASSUME there’s “nothing”, and describe it that way with prejudice. The FACT is you definitely don’t know it’s nothing. It’s mathematically and scientifically impossible to prove the negative. You get to dismiss something you’ve chosen to not believe in by that wording alone. You can’t learn anything that way. Since it appears you believe in scientific theories, let’s look at a couple of “laws”: Matter can neither be created, nor destroyed. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. If those are true, from where did all of the matter and energy in the universe come?
When a person dies, where does their energy makeup go? For that matter, to what extent is energy matter, and vice versa?

It's not unlikely or implausible that alien life exists. Life exists on earth so why shouldn't it exist on a similar planet. Hell even a very different planet from ours. It doesn't need to be grey men but even bacteria on a different planet would be alien life. Ghosts and/or God on the other hand aren't rooted in anything scientifically plausible and are purely based on faith. There's nothing strange or ironic about your beliefs.

Almost everyone believes in a higher power. If that believe is not directed to God, it might be directed to aliens. It’s common for secular people to believe in that, I know examples of them.

I'm of the same opinion. I have no reason to believe God or ghosts exist, but with the universe being as big as it is I don't see why what happened here couldn't have happened anywhere else.

Does it? The idea of "God" seems to make a lot of sense to me. Maybe not as defined by Holy Books, but the idea of an intelligent first cause. My brain in not wired to go through the contortions required to believe that everything came from nothing.

I find such reasoning to be faulty, the belief that simply because the universe is so horribly vast that there MUST be aliens out there, is just wrong. It's wrong because those who promote this idea don't seem to understand that while a vast universe is a necessary condition for life to arise more than once, it is by no means sufficient.
