Who do you get your looks from more, your momma, or your poppa's side of the family?

My grandmother and I were having this exact conversation today! Most often, people tell me that I look exactly like my mother, but my grandmother disagrees. I get my nose from my mother's side. My eyebrows are a mix of my dad's and mum's, my eyes from my paternal grandmother and skin tone from my mother. I also get my hair texture (smooth and straight) from my dad's side. My lips are similar to that of my mother's.

I do wish I got my maternal grandmother's nose, I feel like mine is too much of a button nose.

Definitely not my dad. I resemble my moms family. I have my dads hair texture and cheekbones. I don’t look like either of my parents really.

this one is a bit more clear, I think... as they do say that I do resemble my greatgrand father on my mothers side and there darker eyes, hair, the height and all that

while there were more blue and green eye colors, blondies and redheads on the relatives of my father and we didn't come out like that (except for my older brother who came out with some sort of hazel/greenish eyes or something like that)

I would say my mother's side. Especially my height. My father was 5'9" and my mother was 5'11". I am the tallest person on both sides.

My entire childhood, everyone told me I looked like my dad. Now, as an adult, more people tell me I look like my mom. I don't look exactly like my mom, but I guess out of all of her kids, I probably look the most like her. I'd say I'm more of an even mix, tho.

Mothers side. Thank goodness. When I turned 18 my mum brought out her picture of herself the same age. We looked exactly the same. Pretty fun.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any bit of my dad's white-American looks or height.

Meanwhile, unlike me, both my brothers are almost entirely like my dad.

They're pale white & tall like our dad.

i get a lot from my mother's side. The baby face, the eyes, or like, when you put us side by side how i'm just the darker skinned version of her. My dad's black and my mom's white. All i got was half of his skin tone and the thickkkk curly hair

Yes. I've been told I have my mom's face but my dad's legs... so that's probably why people can't tell. Especially if I kick someone, they would wonder how my legs are so strong xD
