What is an advice you give to others but don't stick to it yourself?

I personally nearly always hold on to my own advices that I give out to others but now it happened!! I sinned lmao

One of my advices that I always say is "don't quit your Job, before you find a new one".
And I did stick to that for the last 10 years but now... well finally my uhm dismissal from my current job got officially confirmed and I'm officially going to be unemployed in January without having a new Job yet 🥳

I have to change my advice now to "don't quit your current Job, if you can't afford being unemployed for a while" lol

To not be hard on yourself. I don't tell myself that I'm worthless or something like that, but I always think "You could have done this better. You could have done that. Why didn't you do this?" I don't think it's a bad thing, but I could take it a bit easier.

And don't break laws. If I can get something out of it, I will look for a backdoor secret passage.

I was raised on holistics. The doctors always always always add more problems from mistakes or misdiagnosis. I have mostly been able to fix things at home. It’s safer to go to a veterinarian these days (from personal experience).

I have also given the same advice but my advice is strange.

I tell my friends not to watch porn, it is very bad for health and due to excessive masturbation a person goes crazy, if I say this, then I myself have become used to these things.

Lol. To be fair I tell people not to shit disturb but I fully expect them too. Save money is only when it’s feasible. For me I can and for my friend she could if she gave up either one of her vices.


And get enough sleep is determined on being a smart person and going to bed at a decent hour

You re not going to be unemployed. You’re going to get freedom of self employed for a while so you should be incredibly grateful. Don’t worry about not making certain amount of limit in a month. Just know that you’re happy, you’re yourself. You can try some self employed jobs like Uber/deliveries.

No I'm going to be unemployed and yeah it's great that I can afford a few months off but I'm financially on my own and bills don't get paid on their own.
