I got both of my dogs when they were 8 weeks old. They both cried the first few nights away from their moms.

Every once in a while they'll cry at night when they're dreaming.

Yeah, when my dog was a puppy, she would cry since she hated being alone. Now she cries when she's having nightmares. Old age problems I guess.
