I do this on purpose sometimes as a joke. Also some Roman numerals.
Actually this question is a joke. I just want that "dumbest question of the year" award.

Well you just made me look dumb 💀😂
I turned my phone around, so I could look at the (1)’s you typed in the question, and I was still confused lmfao
Lol. It is. When someone writes the number 1 it's usually a straight line.
🤣🤣 you just ranked up in the awesome meter. I always write it with a straight line like they do a capital i on here. I
Okay! I feel a little better now. Hopefully the awesome meter and the smart meter are two different things 🤣😆
Yeah, that’s hilarious. It made more sense when you wrote the one as a straight line. I was like fruckkk! 😂
Busted out laughing. From now on I’m never rotating my phone on Gag. This is so degree! Lol
🤣🤣🤣
I'm going to have to try to think of another to maybe get you to rotate your phone.
@Rosexøxø
Okay, now my Js will be forevermore haunted by the specter of a properly written 1.
I'm going to have to start writing in Chinese, I guess.
I hope that the specter of the 1 doesn't haunt my cannabis Js.
I'm somewhat terrified to view the remainder of this thread, for fear of whatever more terrors lie in wait to mess with my mind.
👍😊
It's okay. Do you know what these are?
٠ ١ ٢ ٣ ٤ ٥ ٦ ٧ ٨ ٩ ١٠
I know it's the numbers looks like 1 through 9? 10? I just don't know what language.
Yep! It's in Arabic. Their one ١ is very similar to the English version 1 or I. Rather intriguing XP
Yes it is. I have to say, that looks like it would be hard to write. One little mess up and it's a different number. Lol
@Curiosity2006
It's my understanding that 0123456789 are known as Arabic numerals, introduced to Europe in the 10th century, blah, blah blah.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_numerals#History
Enjoy!
@nolabels Well, I've heard that before! But I've also been educated that these are "allegations" and that they're all false XDD According to Arabians they possess scriptures and ancient books that prove their numbers are their own creation, and the european remains the "west's". I guess the world is being lectured both now. XPP
@Curiosity2006
This has been such a fun thread that I just quickly thought about it and threw it out there.
Thanks for the additional information.
Now I'm curious and will pursue the subject further at my leisure.
Lol.
@nolabels Thanks, I shall do the same. X))

No, but an upside down 0 drives me crazy. Doesn't that 0 send you a bit bonkers?
Or if I order a hamburger specifying that the top bun be on the bottom with the bottom bun placed on top. When I receive it I can tell that they made it with the top bun on top and then flipped it over to serve it to me. They can't fool me.
How about 6s and 9s, or 9s and 6s. There's no way to tell.
Unbelievable.
What a world.
Crazy right?
@Havthrills
Man, it never ends.
Reading some of these other responses has me wishing that I was an extraterrestrial.
Surely 'they' have come up with an unambiguous system.
Or maybe not.
I should probably be careful what I wish for.
Am I sure that I'm really here right now?
I'm beginning to have doubts.
I did some good LSD back in the 70s.
Maybe I'm flashing back 50 years later, or would that be 'SO' years later.
I've been looking at your original question for hours, questioning myself as to whether I should join in or not.
Well, we now know the answer to my question. I'm here..., I think.
Your question, so innocent looking, yet so deviously intricate in its ramifications that it may never be fully answered. It may rock the foundations of civilization!
My mind is blown!
I need a cigar and a whiskey.
Enjoy the fun!
I always put a hat on my ones so I know they are not upside down and I draw a line through my zeroes so I do not confuse them with O's.
True. I sometimes put a line through the zero also.
no i dot
Who ever does that?
