The correct answer is ACONCAGUA, in Argentina, only 15 km (9 mi) from the Chile border.

It is the tallest mountain in the Andes mountain chain, which is the longest chain of mountains in the world. It is taller than Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mount Kosciuszko in Australia, making Aconcagua the tallest mountain in the Southern Hemisphere.

Aconcagua River flows nearby into the Pacific Ocean.
