Do you enjoy gloomy days?

It’s cold and wet outside

I woke up this morning to such gloomy weather. I hate it. It feels depressing but it’s the perfect weather to just snuggle up with a warm blanket and watch a movie which is what I’m doing.

Hi "Pink", here in Southern California we have a lot of sunny days, and it is rare to have 'gloom' but when we do i usually welcome it.. When raining, I sometimes go to Pelican Hill Resort, (nobody there in the rain!) and i go to the coliseum, and have lunch in the rain, sitting under the overhang, with the heat on and watch the steam come up from the heated saltwater pool, OR if not raining too hard, I might go to Strand Beach, and walk in the sand and enjoy the solitude.

Other than that I may sit on the couch with a nice 'rain storm' from YouTube on the big screen and read.

I was treated to 36 holes of golf in Pelican Hill's beautiful courses and pampered in one of their villas. It was overcast due to a marine layer that loomed overhead but the "gloom" was actually a welcome condition. T'was an unforgettably wonderfully "dark" weekend.

@DeeDeeDeVour When I am there, I always stop and look over the 'wall' cooming down from parking and look at the golf course, and he beautiful area where they have the wedding ceremonies.

I love it. I’m not a big sun guy (if my pastiness wasn’t a dead giveaway lmao). It’s too blinding. Overcast or light rain at a warm temperature is my ideal weather. But hot or cold, I always prefer cloudy over sunny.

I feel the same. The way it looks is sad in some sense snd bittersweet I guess but it's hot cocoa and soul weather vibe type to just chillax and watch holiday or fall/winter movies which is a special time.

As long as it's not unbearably cold, I don't mind "gloomy days" at all.

In fact, I enjoy the outdoors when it's gloomy outside.

I do not just enjoy them, I cherish them when they are present for several different reasons.
I am the fall/autumn type of person generally speaking.
Coziest season of all, not only that, but also the season when all the colors are most gorgeous before they become austere and look lonely and naked.
What I think about trees and forest? Look at my profile picture and read this comment one more time.
Passion is almost too little of a word to describe how I truly feel.

Gloomy days tend to be some of my favorite. Petrichor being one of my all time favorite smells, being generally tied to the gloom. However, a nice fire and either a book or good classic movie with a cup of coffee is always a great time.

No its be really cold and look depressing at times, the only thing I like about gloom is the fact unlike the sun most gloomy weather don't reflect mirrors or TV.
