Yes, one of my dogs (a boxer mix) occasionally snores. He also "runs" in his sleep and barks sometimes. He's a sound sleeper. If he's snoring and I shake him, he doesn't budge, but he will wake out of sound sleep if he hears a food wrapper crinkling.
Food wrapper crinkling or the second you touch the refrigerator. As for running in their sleep is that why they kick you on their sleep.
When Harry my cat was alive he slept on a little pad at the foot of our bed. Some nights I would lie awake and listen to both him and my wife softly snore. I used to smile.
Cheers to the little memories & cheers to Harry as well.
I've had both dogs and cats... never saw any of them snore
they do dream often, though... lol
We can only imagine what they dream about.
chasing something... probably

My grandparents have a male English Bulldog, he's absolutely hilarious. They had to put a separate room for him to put his bed in, because he snores so loud, and he also farts a lot while he's asleep. He's a very sound sleeper, but also is very good at hearing sounds that aren't normal, and he will alert if he hears any.
Thatâs one way to get your own room & snoring & farting would do it. On the other hand I bet you open the refrigerator or touch the front door up like a light he is.
Does a sleep bark and his legs go like he's running. Sometimes he wakes up more tired than when he went to sleep
I remember those sleep bark days & I remember being kicked as well & I also remember waking up & the dogs head is on my pillow.
My sixteen year old cat snores very often, my dog does too but not as much. I'm pretty sure I've heard them dreaming as well because they started making some funny noises as if they were hunting.
Dreaming is a wonderful thing & other than hunting I could only wonder what our pets dream about.
It would be very interesting to find out.
Yes, my dog snores very loudly. We often have to turn up the TV lol
Oh Shit & when your dog stops snoring you probably wonder why the tv is so loud.
Yes, most of them do.
Some of them snore as loud as my husband. :D
Some nights itâs probably a snoreathon.
Imagine the night following a day full of running and/or hiking during a camping vacation...
"Snoreathon" indeed!
My golden retriever snores. My Australian Shepherd yips 😂
You should record them snoring & yips & make a music video or something.
The one dog does, but not always... usually when he has a cold, but most the time he does not.
That is interesting when itâs cold outside & I wonder if the cold makes a difference when people snore.
I don't know about dogs, but usually they say humans they have sleep apnea, maybe animals can get it too, but this one dog is short snout so he plugs easy. Longer snouted dogs don't do that as easy.
My sisterâs beagle does snore, and heâs adorable for it. 🤧
just hope it doesnât worsen as he ages, ofc. 🫁

Itâs like every time I visit my parents & stay over their dog snores. Iâm in the guest room & in the middle of the night Iâm like WTF is that & the next thing you know the dog is licking my face.
đđđđ that last bit left me unsure of my emotions lmfaooo
reminds me of that one scene from the movie: Yours, Mine, and Ours- starring Dennis Quaid
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=t0R7IRtvvFA
But now that I watched it I realized it wasnât a dog đ oh well
Such an old movie đ¤ maybe Iâll give it a watch again. Dunno.
I remember that movie & a great movie it was as well.
Yes. Often rip-roaring. Most recently found my little dog under the covers and laying over a fresh hot water bottle I had put there only a few min before. Already bent into blissful sleep and the loud sounds to prove it.
I do not currently have a pet, but i did have a cat that occasionally snored. It was adorable!
I have several friends with dogs who snore. Flat-faced mutts seem to snore naturally, based on my experience.
I've lived with cats, dogs and even ferrets... if it breathes, it SNORES (and farts!)
Absolutely well said brother!
Ain't 'pretty' but it is REAL.
... Even Jesus & the saints FARTED
Organized religions define first class religious relics
as ANY object which came into physical contact with
the physical body of a 'saintly' person which WOULD include
ANYTHING passing through such a body, including MANURE~ ;)
My cat snores when he's sleeping deeply. My dog does on occasion.
Does you cat ever meow in his sleep? Some animals run on their sleep.
My cat does. But so, according to my wife, do I.
My current one dose not she sleeps with soft breathing
Had an old dog in the past that we taken care of while the owners where out that snore and fart in her sleep
Snore & fart in her sleep, wow!
I had a dog, a Shi Zuu that could out snore me.
Iâm sure you two had a snoreathon.
I have a dog and 3 cats. The cats are 2 girls and 1 boy. My dog is a male. Both males snore. My dog is very loud, almost like a human.
Loud enough to wake themselves up & you as well?
My dog wakes me up and when I get up so does he
I had two dachshunds and they both snored. I laughed to myself everytime I heard them.
You can be sound asleep & boom you are up & your like what the hell.
I donât think so. Iâve never witnessed this in the history of my life with any animal, only saw it in Prehistoric Planet
A dinosaur snoring I could imagine how loud that would be or even an elephant.
Imagine laying on the tummy of a sleeping sauropod
Yes! The pups do but my cat doesnât.
Itâs adorable when they move their paws when theyâre sleeping, like theyâre dreaming of chasing squirrels.
Iâll never let a dog sleep on my bed because if they are chasing squirrels in their sleep I wouldnât want those squirrels going after nuts.
My cat snores and sometimes hums a bit in his sleep. LOL
What the flock? Humming, hahaha.
