Will send one final link in this answer. It was shared with me, and I’m not religious. I do believe in science. I do think the guy in the video was trying to combine the two, slightly, but I think he has a point in basically holding on to the positive thoughts. Positive emotions.

If what you’re feeling is bad, completely disown it, and try to think logically how to change the situation.

Being intentional with your life

not living 100% of it just reacting to outside (shifting) factors, the instead,

living 80% choosing the things you want!

and living the other 20% reacting and adapting/ modifying your plans, for when you receive some set back or side blow.

Live intentional. Think your way out of any situation like the sister from the movie: Lemony snickets series of unfortunate events- with Jim Carrey.

Combine their character traits into one person- and trust me you CAN think your way out of any UNFORTUNATE situation.

It's entirely possible. A person can get addicted to social media and need it more and more. Or want the likes and follows and not get them and get down about it. Same for MHO and Superb Opinion. Or not receive validation and approval from the answers to their questions or the replies they post.

But there's also the joy of connecting with other humans. Of funny conversations. Of learning something new.

A person has to have the grounding of real life outside of GaG.

Yes Great advice in the last sentence which perfectly wrapped up all of the great valid points in the beginning. It’s why when I was in school, I would never make school life my only life. I had friends from multiple places. I could sense the real ones and the ones who seemed unstable as a good friend for me besides them being readily available for others. When I noticed those things, I wasn’t bothered, so when things would go south or end, I wasn’t sad about it. It also meant that I wasn’t trying to fit in like everyone else in some group- being loved by the majority, or the hottest kid in town. I was loose and always a neutral member. If anyone needed help I gave it freely and genuinely. In that moment- they weren’t my friend, but I was treating them like my best friend. I was being a real friend to them in their lowest moments. When their friends treated them like crap, I acknowledged them, and got them to think about other things. The things they liked, truly. All of this is to point out, that you can’t make certain places and things mean so much to you. Placing ALL of your happiness into one arena will make the emotional highs and lows very concentrated and extreme. Despite that reality, try to always have a positive outlook by embracing the good things and seeing the best side in people. Managing time is smart. Giving your time to the things that you truly love and enjoy, is wise. Using some time to discover new passions, is the epitome of wisdom. It keeps you always growing and truly alive. Expand your horizons artsy! You’re loved here by a good few of happy healthy individuals, and some who have their fair share of life’s b. s. but there’s so much more in the world you can tap into and enjoy. Finding new ways to express yourself, and offering your wonderful personality and aid to those who are in dire need of kindness and honesty, as well as creativity such as yourself.
