For those who purposely got fired was it worth it?

For me it was when working a guy grabbed me I “ accidentally“ spilled coffee all over their lap.

Yes.


I got a job at a small convenience store in the middle of nowhere.


The owner seemed like a sweet old lady…until she hired me.


She was the definition of a bad boss.


For example, a customer once asked if we had a drink in stock. I checked the back, came back and told him we were out.


He walks over to my boss and asks her the same question.


She screams at the top of her lungs “sure, I’ll go check the back even though I have EMPLOYEES WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO FUCKING DO THAT!!!”


She was quiet as a mouse after she went to check herself snd it wasn’t there and didn’t apologize to me even after the customer shakily told her I had already checked for him.


She once got 2 inches from my face and screamed…it took all of my self control not to shove my fist down her throat…


Well, the day after she screamed in my face, I got a phone call from my friend saying his aunt and uncle had gotten sick and couldn’t attend vacation, which meant there was a vacant room in their beachside mansion and I was invited for the 2 week all expenses paid trip.


I went to work the next day to write myself off of the schedule and saw something horrifying.


Everyone but me had called out those two weeks…she had me on open to close with just me and her…oh fuck no.


I wrote myself off of the schedule and she immediately appeared and began to scream at me.


I went on the vacation and did not regret it.


I came back and went to the store to see when she had out me back on the schedule.


I found her there with dark circles under her eyes…she looked like hell.


She started to yell at me about how horrible those two weeks were and how I was fired for not telling her when I would be back (even though it was clearly marked on the schedule).


I just laughed in her face and walked out eating the pity present I had gotten her.

You have to be careful reacting that way when someone touches you... like they are asking for something from the waitress. Stunts like that can get you more than fired, especially, when dropping hot liquids on a penis area.
