but they’re both TRANSPARENT 👁

How come we can see mist 🌫 or steam, but not air? 🌬

we can see air sorta. the wavey lines you see when it's hot or humid out is heat from the air and air particles are so small they can't be seen with the naked eye

have you ever used a microscope and those rectangular things you put under a microscope? when you put your specimen on the rectangular thing and put whatever iodine or compound on it then press the smaller plastic top on it then you can see air through air bubbles. or you ever hear of air bubbles those contain air. but under a microscope would be your ideal and closest way to see air since human technology isn't quite there yet to see actual air

Glass can be perfectly clear and clean but it will still reflect some light and that reflection is what you are seeing.

it's not about what we see... it is about what we perceive

also, there are differences between transparent, translucid and even opaque...

as well as solid, liquids and gases...

so... it is not always about the things we do not see when we see them... but how we sense them, that is perception, lol

yes we see them... transparent, translucent and all that does not mean invisible, in fact it means that it will let light go through so it will be very much visible, so we do see "it"

all of these are related to light and water... which are two of the things in this universe that like to play by their own playbook...

we see what we see... based on what we perceive (or don't perceive, in this case)

Because they reflect light. Also mist and steam contain very fine water molecules which reflect light. Thats why you can see them and not air. Its just basic science
