I rent a house with my wife.
Our son, who is nearly three years old, lives with us too. But he is, shall we say, a bit of a freeloader, doesn't pay any share of the rent or bills or anything. I keep telling him to get a job, but then he just says "hi, daddy!" and then demands a cup of milk and that I read him his favorite book at the moment...
Or wants to watch a video of Cookie Monster.
He at least knows that taxation is theft though. And he helps me unload the dishwasher and with laundry, but putting clothes in the dryer. So I might get through to him at some point.

I inherited my house from my paternal grandfather when I was four. My dad had a life trust to use it, so I did not actually take full ownership till I was 19.
