I mean, even if not at this extreme. I would find a good handful of smart people to be:

Intolerable of others, and outright snobbish, with hints of sarcasm.

And some say sarcasm is a form of intelligence…

I am a theoretical physicist and study at one of the top universities. So I guess I can be classified as intelligent.

See, there are levels of intelligence some consider doctors and lawyers, and engineers as smart, but they are middle-level intelligence. They don't create new but preserve the already existing.

The people who create new, like some of the top scientists including some Nobel Laureates that I know are one of the most humble people too in reality. People who are extraordinarily intelligent know their own limitations and gaps in knowledge. However they can be quirky and sarcastic, sarcasm in a sense isn't bad. The whole British sense of humor is even sarcastic.

However, arrogance does come with a lot of very smart people as a defense mechanism. Smart people generally get bullied in schools and by society and generally get very low potential in the dating market unless they earn very well. I can talk about men. A lot of smart guys grow thrashed from society from an early age. Others only want them to do their homework but don't wanna include them while having fun, women don't wanna date them, or make fun of them, if they are kind most people wanna just take advantage of them. A lot of these abuses change people as they grow older.

I m not too frequent here. I like your enthusiasm, however, I am truly sorry that I cannot accept your request.
